Bachoco ranked 46th in the 2021 Monitor of Corporate Reputation (MERCO) ranking of the most responsible companies in terms of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance). It also ranked 7th in the ranking of the most responsible companies by food sector, 30th in environmental reputation and 49th in the social reputation ranking. Its CEO, Rodolfo Ramos Arvizu, ranked 20th among the 100 leaders with the best reputation in Mexico.
MERCO has 22 years of experience evaluating the reputation of companies through a multi-stakeholder methodology composed of six evaluations and more than twenty sources of information. The ranking is determined based on 5 evaluations, taking into account the opinion of executives, market experts, consumers, objective indicators and Merco Digital. In the elaboration of the 2021 ranking, 1094 managers, 679 experts and 3000 consumers participated.
